Ladies Sunshine Fellowship
This fellowship is made up of ladies mostly from our Sunshine Baptist Fellowship churches. We meet twice a year, in October and March, for an all-day meeting hosted by one of our churches. A missionary speaker shares her testimony and ministry, we have a mission project, and have fellowship for the day.

Becky Johnston
President
Becky and her husband, Gordon, are originally from Grand Rapids, MI. They served with Baptist Mid–Missions in Fortaleza, Brazil for 19 years. They taught at Fortaleza Academy and worked in church planting, establishing two Regular Baptist churches. Since leaving the field, she and her husband ministered in Christian education in Sebring and Tampa for five years and continued teaching in the Hillsborough Public School System for 13 more years. They have three sons, Mark, Benjamin, and Stephen, two married and one single, and six grandchildren. She is an active member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Marilyn Pitzer
Vice President
Marilyn is a retired missionary with Baptist Mid–Missions, having served forty years in the country of Venezuela, primarily with the Warao Indians. One of her responsibilities has been the translation of the Old Testament into their language, a project in which she is still involved. (Approximately one third of the OT has been completed and is in the Indians‘ hands.) Marilyn is an associate active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lakeland where she enjoys teaching Sunday School, taking her turn teaching children‘s church, and playing in the church orchestra. She is excited about participating in the prayer ministry of the Sunshine Ladies Missionary Fellowship, thinking back upon her mother‘s prayer ministry in Marilyn‘s commissioning church, Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, OH.
Connie Overholt

Connie accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 7. She was very involved in Boys and Girls Bible Clubs from grade school through her adult life. After being involved in children‘s ministries for many years, the Lord changed her heart to Ladies ministries. At Heritage Baptist Church, she teaches a Ladies Class, is the coordinator for the Ladies Luncheon ministry and runs the church bookstore. She was church secretary and in charge of finances for her church and school in Schroon Lake, NY. She did the finances for Heritage Baptist for 13 years.
Emily Comings
Secretary
Emily is the Associate Pastor‘s wife of Daniel at Fellowship Baptist in Lakeland. She has been a member of the church for 25 years when her father became the senior pastor and moved from being church planters in Jacksonville, FL. Emily came to know Christ at a young age and her relationship with Christ continues to grow. Emily has a special place in her heart for missions as she has been on over 15 missions‘ trips (international and domestic) over the years. Currently Emily and Daniel are raising their children, Rosalie, Caleb, Harvey, and Alistair, serving in their church, and being the Light of Christ in their neighborhood
